Add hand-drawn details to a design in your browser. Combine pen strokes with editable text, arrows and shapes, then export a PDF with your layout.

- Open the editor and choose Draw in Elements or the canvas toolbar. Pick a pen color and stroke width.
- Drag across the page to create a stroke. Switch back to Select to move, resize, recolor or delete it. Undo removes the last change.
- Add text, images or shapes to finish the composition. Save the editable project and download your PDF.
Draw accents, not just entire illustrations
Use a line to connect ideas, a hand-drawn underline for emphasis or a simple border around a note. Strokes are stored as bounded vector paths, so they remain objects you can select and arrange with the rest of the page.
Combine freehand and structured shapes
For clean geometry, use lines, arrows, rectangles, ellipses or stars from Elements. Change their fill, stroke and opacity, and place them behind text with layer controls. The pen is useful when you want an informal mark; shape objects are easier when you need precise alignment.
Know the drawing limits
This is a lightweight document-design pen, not a full painting application. Pressure-sensitive brushes, stroke smoothing and an advanced eraser are not included. To erase a stroke, select and delete the object. It does not import existing PDFs for handwritten annotation.
Questions before you begin
Will drawings remain editable?
Yes, if you save the desin project. Strokes are editable objects there. A PDF export contains the finished drawing but does not reopen as a desin project.
Does drawing use AI?
No. Manual drawing stays in the browser. AI is optional and can propose supported design objects after consent.
